RELATED FAQS ABOUT 3 Days Tanzania Luxury Elder-Friendly Safari

    What makes this safari "elder-friendly?

We prioritize comfort by using luxury lodges with ground-floor rooms, vehicles with extra padding/back support, and a relaxed pace with fewer driving hours to prevent fatigue

Will I have to walk long distances?

No. Most wildlife viewing is done from the comfort of the vehicle. Lodges are selected based on their proximity to parking areas and accessibility.

Are the safari vehicles comfortable for seniors?

Yes, we use modified 4x4 Land Cruisers with pop-up roofs, fitted with high-quality suspension and ergonomic seats to ensure a smooth ride on bumpy roads.

Is there medical assistance available during the trip?

Our guides are trained in first aid, and the package includes AMREF Flying Doctors emergency evacuation insurance for total peace of mind.

Can special dietary requirements be met?

Absolutely. Our luxury lodges cater to all diets, including low-sodium, diabetic-friendly, gluten-free, or vegetarian meals.

What is the best time for seniors to visit?

The dry season (June to October) is ideal as roads are easier to navigate and animals gather around water holes, requiring less driving to find them.

Are there private bathroom facilities on the go?

While in the parks, we plan stops at clean, accessible restroom facilities. Our lodges always feature en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers.

Can I customize the itinerary if I get tired?

Yes, this is a private safari. If you prefer to spend a morning relaxing at the lodge instead of a game drive, your guide will adjust the schedule.

    Do I need specific vaccinations?

We recommend consulting your doctor. Generally, Yellow Fever (if coming from an endemic country) and Malaria prophylaxis are advised.

Is there electricity for medical devices like CPAP machines?

Yes, the luxury lodges we partner with provide 24/7 reliable electricity and power sockets in the rooms for all your devices.
