Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport your family will be warmly welcomed by the safari guide who will assist with luggage and transfer you to Arusha town located about 50 km away. The drive takes about one hour and offers scenic views of Mount Meru and the surrounding countryside. After check-in at the lodge, families can relax by the garden or swimming pool before dinner. In the evening the guide gives a short safari briefing introducing the wildlife and parks that will be visited during the adventure.

After breakfast depart for Serengeti National Park traveling approximately 335 km through the scenic Ngorongoro highlands.
