Arrival Day: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport – Transfer to Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport where your safari guide welcomes you and transfers you to Arusha town about 50 km away. The journey offers views of coffee plantations and the surrounding volcanic landscape dominated by Mount Meru. After checking into your lodge you will receive a briefing about the Serengeti ecosystem and the conservation importance of the areas you will visit during this safari.

Day 1: Arusha to Central Serengeti – Wildlife Observation Drive

After breakfast depart for Serengeti traveling about 335 km through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This journey provides opportunities to observe changes in ecosystems from highland forests to open savannah grasslands. Upon entering Serengeti you begin a game drive focused on wildlife observation including herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, and predators such as lions.

Day 2: Full-Day Serengeti Wildlife Study Experience

Spend the entire day exploring Serengeti while learning about the park’s complex ecosystem. Throughout the day you may observe cheetahs hunting, elephants feeding, and massive herds of grazing herbivores.
