This is often the best time to see lions hunting, cheetahs scanning the plains, and hyenas roaming across the savannah. The Serengeti is also home to the famous Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeest and zebras move across the plains in search of fresh grazing land. Around midday you will enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness, surrounded by open landscapes and wildlife sounds. RELATED FAQS ABOUT 3 Days Tanzania Luxury Safari from Dar Es Salaam

How do I get from Dar Es Salaam to the Northern Circuit?

The most luxurious way is a scheduled charter flight from JNIA or Terminal 1 in Dar to airstrips like Seronera (Serengeti) or Manyara. The flight takes about 1.5 to 2 hours.

Is the flight from Dar Es Salaam scenic?

Yes! On a clear day, you can see the coastline, the shifting landscapes of the Maasai Steppe, and even a distant view of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru.

What is the luggage limit for the light aircraft?

There is a strict limit of 15kg (33 lbs) per person in soft-sided bags. Hard suitcases are generally not allowed due to the small cargo pods of the planes.

Will a vehicle be waiting for me when I land?

Yes. Your private luxury 4x4 Land Cruiser and professional guide will be waiting at the bush airstrip the moment your plane touches down.

Can I visit the Ngorongoro Crater starting from Dar?

Absolutely. You can fly into Lake Manyara airstrip, which is only a 45-minute drive from the Ngorongoro Crater rim luxury lodges.

    Are the bush flights safe?

Yes, we use premier local airlines like Coastal Aviation or Auric Air, which maintain high international safety standards and experienced pilots.

Is this 3-day trip enough time?

By flying, you save 12 hours of driving. This gives you two full afternoons and one full morning of high-quality game viewing, which is perfect for a luxury "short break."

What happens to my extra luggage in Dar?

Most guests leave their large suitcases at their hotel in Dar Es Salaam or in secure lockers at the airport, taking only essentials to the bush.

    Is the safari all-inclusive?

Our luxury fly-in packages typically cover flights, bush transfers, gourmet meals, park fees, and even premium drinks at the lodges

Can I fly back to Zanzibar instead of Dar?

Yes, many guests choose to fly from the Serengeti to Zanzibar on the third day to transition from "Bush to Beach" seamlessly.
