After breakfast, you will depart Arusha early in the morning and begin your journey toward Serengeti National Park, covering approximately 335 kilometers (6–7 hours drive) through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands. The drive offers stunning views of lush green hills, valleys, and Maasai grazing lands, making the journey visually rich and enjoyable. As you descend into Serengeti, the landscape opens into wide green plains dotted with acacia trees and wildlife. Upon entering the park, you will begin your afternoon game drive, where you may encounter zebras, giraffes, elephants, and lions spread across the plains. The abundance of fresh grass attracts large herds of herbivores, increasing predator activity in the area. The peaceful environment allows for uninterrupted wildlife viewing. After breakfast, you will depart Serengeti and drive approximately 150 kilometers toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, you will descend about 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, which covers approximately 260 square kilometers and supports a dense population of wildlife. During your game drive, you may encounter lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, hippos, flamingos, and possibly the rare black rhino. The crater offers one of the best opportunities to see a wide variety of animals within a short time. After enjoying a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, you will begin your return journey to Arusha, covering approximately 180 kilometers through scenic highlands and rural landscapes. You will arrive in the late afternoon or early evening.
