Day 1: Arusha to Central Serengeti – Long Drive & Wildlife Introduction

After breakfast, you will depart Arusha early and begin your journey toward Serengeti National Park, covering approximately 335 kilometers (6–7 hours drive) through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands. The drive offers impressive views of hills, valleys, and Maasai grazing lands, providing a rich cultural and scenic experience along the way. As you enter Serengeti, the landscape opens into wide plains with dry grass and scattered trees, creating excellent conditions for wildlife viewing. Upon arrival, you will begin your afternoon game drive, where you may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, and lions moving across the plains. Wildlife is more concentrated around water sources during this time, making sightings more frequent. The experience is engaging and full of action. Day 2: Full-Day Serengeti Game Drive – Predator Activity & Open Savannah

Today you will spend a full day exploring Serengeti’s vast ecosystem, known for its incredible wildlife diversity and open landscapes. Starting early in the morning, you will maximize your chances of spotting predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, often active during the cooler hours. Throughout the day, you will also encounter large herds of wildebeest, buffalo, and antelopes, gathering near water sources due to the dry conditions. The shorter grass and open terrain make wildlife easier to observe and photograph. Around midday, you will enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness, surrounded by beautiful scenery and natural sounds. The experience is both exciting and relaxing. In the afternoon, you will continue your exploration before returning to your lodge in the evening.

Day 3: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Back to Arusha (Final Wildlife Experience)

After breakfast, you will depart Serengeti and drive approximately 150 kilometers toward Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, you will descend about 600 meters into the crater floor, which spans approximately 260 square kilometers and is home to a dense population of wildlife. During the game drive, you may encounter lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, hippos, flamingos, and many other species within this unique ecosystem. The crater offers one of the best chances to see multiple animals in one location within a short time. After enjoying a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, you will begin your return journey to Arusha, covering approximately 180 kilometers through scenic highlands. You will arrive in the late afternoon or early evening.
