3 Days Tanzania Safari from Kenya to Serengeti and Ngorongoro

Most travelers start at the Isebania border where our Tanzanian guide meets you after you clear customs. From there, it is a relatively short drive into the northern Serengeti, which allows you to start game viewing almost immediately. This transition is very smooth and avoids the long drive back to Arusha if you are already in the Masai Mara.

Depending on the time of year, you can witness the massive herds of wildebeest as they move across the plains in search of fresh grass. Between July and October, the herds are often in the northern region near the border, making it very easy to see them. Your guide will track the movement of the animals to ensure you are in the best location for this spectacular event.

You can definitely add a sunrise balloon safari on your second morning in the Serengeti to see the landscape from above. This extra activity usually includes a champagne breakfast in the bush after you land. We recommend bringing light, breathable clothing for the day and a warm jacket for the chilly mornings in the Ngorongoro highlands.
