Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), our driver will meet you for a private transfer to your hotel in Arusha. The drive covers 50 kilometers and takes about 1 hour. This day is for resting and preparing for your 3-day Tanzania off-road safari. During the drive, you can observe the local scenery and the peaks of Mount Meru. Your guide will meet you in the evening for a technical briefing about the 4x4 vehicle and the rough terrain you will encounter in the parks.

Day 1: Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater (Full Day Tour)
The tour begins with a 180-kilometer drive from Arusha to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which takes approximately 3.5 hours. You will spend the day on the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater, navigating the steep and winding tracks that lead into the caldera. This is a prime location on your 3-day off-road safari to see the rare black rhino and large prides of lions. A positive and unexpected moment often occurs when your vehicle crosses a small stream, and you see a group of elephants cooling off just a few meters from the trail. You will ascend the crater wall in the late afternoon to reach your lodge.

Day 2: Ngorongoro to Serengeti (Half-day game Drive)
Today, your 3-day off-road safari in Tanzania continues toward the central Serengeti National Park. The journey covers about 145 kilometers and takes roughly 4 hours. You will drive through the dusty, corrugated roads of the Ngorongoro Highlands before reaching the wide-open plains. In the afternoon, you will explore the Seronera Valley, known for its challenging tracks and high concentration of leopards. You might experience the exciting sight of a leopard guarding its kill on a large acacia branch. You will spend the night at a safari camp, listening to the sounds of the African night under a clear sky.

Day 3: Serengeti (Morning game drive) – Back to Arusha
The final day starts with a 6:00 AM game drive to catch the predators while they are still active. This is the best time on your 3-day Tanzania off-road safari to see cheetahs or lions before the sun gets too hot. Witnessing the sunrise over the endless savannah is a quiet and beautiful highlight for many travelers. After a mid-morning breakfast, you will begin the long return journey to Arusha. The drive covers 330 kilometers and takes approximately 7 to 8 hours. You will pass through the Great Rift Valley and local Maasai villages, arriving in Arusha in the late evening for your flight home or an overnight stay
