Our guide will collect you in Nairobi and begin your Christmas safari journey through Kenya’s scenic highlands. You will travel towards the dry northern landscapes of Samburu, arriving in time for lunch at your midrange accommodation. In the afternoon, your festive wildlife adventure begins with a game drive near the Ewaso Nyiro River. You may see elephants, lions, giraffes and zebras while enjoying the peaceful Christmas atmosphere of the African wilderness.

Game-Drive Time: Approximately 5–7 hours with a midday celebration
Places Visited: Samburu Plains, Ewaso Nyiro River and riverine woodland
You will begin the festive day with a morning game drive while wildlife is active. Our guide will help you search for Samburu’s special species, including reticulated giraffes, Grevy’s zebras, gerenuks and Somali ostriches. You will return to the lodge for breakfast, relaxation and a Christmas meal or celebration arranged by the accommodation. Later, your Christmas safari continues with an afternoon wildlife drive and a colourful sunset.

After checking into your midrange accommodation, you will have time to relax and enjoy the festive setting. A short evening drive may be included depending on your arrival time.

Your final holiday morning will be spent exploring Ol Pejeta Conservancy. You will search for rhinos, elephants, buffaloes, lions and other wildlife while our guide explains the conservancy’s protection programmes. The journey may include the chimpanzee sanctuary area when open. After the game drive, you will return to Nairobi and complete your Christmas safari offer in Kenya.
