    An Outstanding Luxury Birding Safari

    5/5

Our guide treated birdwatching as the main purpose of the safari and never ignored smaller species simply because a large animal was nearby. We observed raptors, rollers, secretary birds and several woodland species while still enjoying excellent lion and elephant encounters.

I loved that the safari combined serious birdwatching with iconic Maasai Mara wildlife. We could spend time with a martial eagle and later enjoy a lion pride without feeling that one interest had to replace the other.

    Exceptional Raptors and Riverine Birds

    5/5

The raptor sightings were excellent, but the riverine areas added even more variety with herons, kingfishers and storks. The itinerary was carefully structured to visit different habitats rather than repeating the same circuit.
