Welcome the year on a 4-Day Kenya Luxury New Year Safari in Maasai Mara with private game drives, premium lodging and iconic wildlife.
Welcome a new chapter surrounded by wildlife on this 4-Day Kenya Luxury New Year Safari in Maasai Mara. The private journey combines premium accommodation with an afternoon safari and two complete days of wildlife exploration across Kenyaβs famous reserve. You will search for lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, buffaloes and large grazing herds while enjoying the open landscapes of the Mara. Depending on the selected lodge, festive dining, room decorations or special New Year hospitality may be arranged. The package suits couples, families, friends and independent travellers seeking an inspiring beginning to the year.
Our professional guide will collect you from Nairobi and begin the approximately 260–280-kilometre journey to the Maasai Mara. The road transfer generally takes five to six hours and passes Great Rift Valley scenery, agricultural highlands and traditional Maasai countryside. On arrival, you will check in at your selected luxury lodge or tented camp, enjoy lunch and prepare for the first afternoon game drive. Attractions may include lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras and antelopes moving across the open savannah. You will return to the lodge for dinner and any New Year hospitality offered by the property.
After breakfast, you will leave with a picnic lunch and spend seven to nine hours exploring approximately 60–100 kilometres of the reserve. The guide will search for big cats, elephant families, buffaloes, wildebeest, zebras and birds while selecting routes according to wildlife activity. The private vehicle allows you to enjoy sightings without unnecessary rushing. Lunch will be served at an authorised picnic area before the afternoon game drive continues through another part of the Mara.
Your third day includes another flexible seven-to-nine-hour safari covering approximately 60–100 kilometres. The guide may explore riverine areas, quieter grasslands or locations recently used by predators and large herds. Attractions may include hippos, crocodiles, elephants near water, lions, cheetahs, hyenas and seasonal wildlife concentrations. The peaceful landscapes provide an inspiring setting for reflection and new beginnings. A picnic lunch will be arranged before the afternoon wildlife exploration continues.
After breakfast, you will check out and begin the approximately 260–280-kilometre return journey to Nairobi, normally taking five to six hours. You will pass Maasai countryside, rural trading centres, highland farms and Great Rift Valley views before reaching the capital. A suitable meal and comfort stop will be arranged before drop-off at your hotel, private residence or airport.
