4 Days Kenya Student Safari from Nairobi to Samburu and Ol Pejeta

Our guide will meet the student group in Nairobi and provide a short safari briefing before departure. Your journey will travel through different agricultural and ecological zones, allowing students to observe how landscapes change from the central highlands to the northern drylands. After reaching Samburu and checking into the midrange accommodation, students will join an afternoon game drive. Our guide will introduce the reserve’s ecosystem, river dependence and special wildlife species.

Students will begin with a morning game drive focused on wildlife behaviour, habitat use and species adaptation. Our guide will explain how animals such as gerenuks, Grevy’s zebras, oryx and reticulated giraffes survive in dry environments. After a midday break, your Kenya student safari continues with an afternoon field experience. Students may take notes, photographs and participate in guided discussions about conservation challenges and tourism.

After a final morning wildlife drive, the student group will leave Samburu and continue towards Ol Pejeta. During the journey, our guide will discuss land use, farming, pastoralism and wildlife corridors. Upon arrival, students will check into their midrange accommodation and receive an introduction to Ol Pejeta’s conservation work. A short evening game drive may be included depending on arrival time.

Your final day will focus on wildlife conservation in Ol Pejeta. Students will search for rhinos, elephants, buffaloes, lions and other animals while learning about anti-poaching, habitat management and conservation funding. The group may also visit the chimpanzee sanctuary area when open. After the educational experience, your Kenya student safari from Nairobi ends with a road transfer back to the city.
