You will leave Nairobi with our professional driver-guide and travel through the Great Rift Valley toward the Maasai Mara ecosystem. Along the route, the guide will introduce Kenya’s landscapes, communities and conservation story. After arriving at your luxury lodge or tented camp, you will check in, enjoy lunch and begin an afternoon game drive. You may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes and predators while learning how wildlife, tourism and nearby communities are connected. You will return to the lodge for dinner.

Your day begins with a wildlife drive across the Maasai Mara plains. The guide will search for predators, elephant families and grazing herds while explaining conservation and human-wildlife coexistence. Depending on the confirmed programme, you may also visit a responsibly selected Maasai community, where local hosts can introduce homestead organisation, livestock traditions, clothing, beadwork and everyday life. Guests should request permission before photographing people or homes. A picnic or lodge lunch will be arranged according to the itinerary before further wildlife viewing. You will return to the luxury lodge for dinner.

Transfer distance: Approximately 230–250 kilometres
Estimated journey: Around 4½–5½ hours
Attractions: Rural communities, highland farms, Rift Valley scenery and Lake Naivasha environment

After breakfast, you will leave the Maasai Mara and travel toward Lake Naivasha. The drive passes through rural settlements, agricultural areas and Rift Valley scenery, allowing you to observe Kenya beyond the protected reserves. On arrival, you will check in at a luxury lakeside lodge and enjoy lunch or refreshments. The afternoon may be used for relaxation, birdwatching within the lodge grounds or an optional lakeside activity.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha Nature Experience – Nairobi

Lake Naivasha Nature Experience – Nairobi

Morning activity range: Approximately 10–25 kilometres
Road distance to Nairobi: Approximately 90–100 kilometres
Estimated duration: Around 2–3 hours of activity and 1½–2 hours by road
Final attractions: Hippos, birds, Crescent Island wildlife, lakeside livelihoods and freshwater ecology

You will begin the morning with a Lake Naivasha nature experience. Depending on the confirmed package, this may include a boat safari, Crescent Island walk or another suitable excursion. Your guide may explain birdlife, hippos, local fishing activity and the importance of the lake to surrounding communities. After breakfast and check-out, you will travel to Nairobi for final drop-off.
