Our professional safari driver-guide will collect you from your Nairobi hotel, private residence or the airport before beginning the scenic drive toward the Maasai Mara. You will pass through the Great Rift Valley and Kenya’s productive highlands, with suitable comfort and photography stops arranged along the way. After arriving at your luxury lodge or tented camp, you will check in, enjoy lunch and prepare your photography equipment. After breakfast, you will leave with a picnic lunch and spend the day exploring productive wildlife areas across the Maasai Mara. Our guide will follow recent tracks, animal calls and local information while searching for predators and large herbivore herds. Because the vehicle is private, you will have time to wait for better light, natural behaviour or improved composition instead of rushing between sightings. You may photograph lions resting near vegetation, cheetahs scanning the plains, elephants moving in family groups and wildebeest grazing beneath dramatic skies. Lunch will be enjoyed at an authorised location before the afternoon photography session continues. You will return to the luxury lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you will check out and leave the Maasai Mara for Lake Naivasha. The journey passes through changing countryside, highland farms and sections of the Great Rift Valley, providing opportunities to photograph landscapes and everyday rural scenery from authorised stopping points. On reaching Lake Naivasha, you will check in at a luxury lodge and enjoy lunch or a late afternoon meal depending on your arrival time. The remainder of the day may be used for lakeside photography, lodge relaxation or an optional sunset boat experience. You will begin your final day with a Lake Naivasha photography experience. Depending on your confirmed package, you may enjoy a boat safari for hippos and waterbirds, a guided Crescent Island walk or another approved lakeside activity. The calm morning conditions can create attractive reflections and excellent opportunities to photograph African fish eagles, pelicans, cormorants and other species. After the activity, you will return to the lodge for breakfast and check out before driving to Nairobi. Our driver-guide will drop you at your hotel, private residence or the airport.
