You will leave Nairobi with our professional guide and travel through the Great Rift Valley toward the Maasai Mara. You may begin identifying common roadside birds as the landscape changes from highlands to open grassland. After reaching your luxury lodge or tented camp, you will enjoy lunch and prepare binoculars, cameras and checklists. The afternoon drive will focus on raptors, rollers, bustards, vultures and other grassland species while also providing opportunities to see elephants, giraffes, zebras and predators.

After breakfast, you will leave with a picnic lunch and explore different Maasai Mara habitats. Riverine areas can produce additional bird species and mammals. Lunch will be served at an authorised location before the afternoon birding experience continues.
