Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara – Festive Afternoon Safari

Distance: Approximately 260–280 kilometres
Driving time: Around 5–6 hours
Attractions: Rift Valley scenery, festive lodge arrival, lions and elephants

Our guide will collect you from Nairobi and begin the Christmas journey toward the Maasai Mara. After arriving at your selected luxury lodge or tented camp, you will check in, enjoy lunch and experience the property’s festive atmosphere. Your afternoon game drive will search for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras and other wildlife before you return for dinner.

After breakfast, you will travel from the Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru. On arrival, you will check in at your luxury lodge and enjoy lunch or refreshments. The afternoon can be used for relaxation and festive family or couple time.
