Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional safari team, who will assist you with luggage and brief you on your upcoming adventure. You will then be transferred to a luxury lodge in Arusha, a vibrant city known as the gateway to Tanzania’s safari regions. After check-in, you can relax in your comfortable room, enjoy refreshments, and perhaps explore the lodge grounds. In the evening, a detailed safari briefing will prepare you for the journey ahead, including safety tips, vehicle orientation, and highlights of the Northern Serengeti. The evening concludes with a sumptuous dinner at the lodge, offering an array of local and international dishes, setting the tone for an exciting start to your safari.
Day 1: Arusha to Northern Serengeti
After an early breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive northwards to the Northern Serengeti. Along the way, enjoy the changing landscapes, from fertile farmlands to rolling savannahs. This drive-in safari allows you to spot wildlife en route, including giraffes, elephants, and various antelope species grazing along the roadside. Upon arrival at your luxury lodge in the Serengeti, you will have time to relax and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, your first game drive introduces you to the vast plains and migratory herds, offering opportunities for photography and observation of natural predator-prey interactions. Return to the lodge before sunset to relax, enjoy drinks, and share experiences of the day. Day 2: Northern Serengeti – Full Day Safari
Spend the day exploring the Northern Serengeti in depth. Begin with an early morning game drive to witness the vibrant activity of wildlife during cooler hours. Observe herds of wildebeest and zebras migrating across the plains, and perhaps spot lions and cheetahs stalking prey. Midday offers a private picnic in the park or return to your lodge for a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, continue with a guided tour, visiting key migration hotspots. Day 4: Northern Serengeti to Arusha
After a leisurely breakfast and a short morning game drive, begin the drive back to Arusha. Take in the scenery one last time, stopping for photos and wildlife spotting along the route. Arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon, where your safari concludes. Depending on your departure schedule, you can rest at a lodge or continue to Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward journey. This drive-in, drive-out safari offers an immersive, luxurious, and educational experience, leaving lasting memories of the great Serengeti migration.
