Book a 4-day premium senior Maasai Mara safari with private transport, gentle pacing, luxury accommodation and personalised assistance.
Our 4-Day Premium Gentle Mara Senior Wildlife Retreat is designed for mature travellers who prefer clear organisation, careful driving and enough rest between activities. You will travel privately from Nairobi to Maasai Mara for an afternoon drive, two full wildlife days and a final morning safari. Our guide will search for lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest and birds without maintaining an unnecessarily rushed pace. Assistance with normal luggage, vehicle entry and lodge check-in may be provided. Guests with mobility, dietary, back or medical requirements should share full details before booking so suitable rooms, seating and daily adjustments can be requested.
Assisted Road Journey
At approximately 5:45 AM, our guide will assist with standard luggage and comfortable seating before departing Nairobi. Breakfast, refreshment and comfort stops will be planned along the Great Rift Valley route. The private transfer allows reasonable additional stops when necessary.
Gentle Afternoon Safari
After arriving, checking in and enjoying lunch, you will rest before the first activity. From approximately 3:45 PM to 6:15 PM, our guide will explore accessible wildlife areas while avoiding unnecessary rushing over rough tracks. You will return early enough to relax before dinner.
Morning Game Drive
At around 6:30 AM, you will begin a wildlife safari during cooler conditions. The guide will choose productive routes while considering road quality and guest comfort. Possible sightings include lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes and zebras.
Picnic Rest and Afternoon Drive
At approximately 12:30 PM, you will enjoy lunch and a proper rest at an authorised location. From around 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the safari continues at a manageable pace, with reasonable adjustments when required. Dinner follows at the lodge.
Unhurried Morning Exploration
At approximately 6:30 AM, you will return to the reserve for another comfortably paced wildlife drive. The guide will explore different habitats and allow enough time for observation. Guests should communicate immediately when additional comfort is required.
Midday Rest and Afternoon Safari
After a picnic lunch and proper rest, the safari will continue until approximately 5:00 PM. The second full day creates more wildlife opportunities without requiring aggressive driving or a rushed checklist. You will return to the lodge for relaxation and dinner.
Last Morning Wildlife Drive
At around 6:30 AM, you will enjoy a final game drive through selected accessible areas. Our guide will search for wildlife while maintaining a careful pace. The drive normally ends at around 9:00 AM.
Breakfast and Comfortable Transfer
After breakfast and unhurried check-out, you will begin the journey to Nairobi at approximately 10:30 AM. Scheduled meal, refreshment and comfort stops will be arranged. Assistance with unloading will be provided at your confirmed destination.
