Our 4-Day Premium Mara–Naivasha Student Wildlife Learning Circuit is created for schools, universities, conservation clubs and organised youth groups seeking practical learning beyond the classroom. Students will travel from Nairobi through the Great Rift Valley to Maasai Mara, where an afternoon drive and a full-day field safari introduce predator-prey relationships, animal behaviour, grassland ecology, migration and conservation. On Day 3, the group will travel through Narok to Lake Naivasha while observing changes in geography, settlement and vegetation. The final morning may include a boat safari, birdwatching activity or Crescent Island nature walk, providing opportunities to study freshwater habitats, birdlife and herbivores. Teachers or authorised leaders remain responsible for general supervision, while our guide manages wildlife interpretation, reserve safety and field-learning activities.

Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara Field Study

Student Assembly and Briefing

At approximately 5:00 AM in Nairobi, students will meet at the confirmed school, university, hotel or meeting point. Teachers will complete attendance while our guide explains the journey, vehicle rules and learning objectives.

Rift Valley Educational Transfer

During the morning, the group will travel through the Great Rift Valley toward Narok. Our guide will introduce geography, land use, settlement patterns and changing vegetation along the route.

Afternoon Mara Field Drive

After lunch and room allocation near the Maasai Mara, students will enter the reserve from approximately 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM. The guide will introduce savannah habitats, animal adaptation and basic food-chain relationships.

Day 2: Full-Day Maasai Mara Ecology Safari

Morning Predator and Herbivore Study

At around 6:00 AM inside the Maasai Mara, students will begin a full-day field drive focused on predator-prey relationships, feeding patterns and animal group behaviour.

Picnic Lunch and Group Review

At approximately 12:30 PM at an authorised picnic site, students will enjoy lunch and review species lists, field notes or observation assignments with teachers.

Afternoon Conservation Learning

From around 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the guide will continue explaining tourism, wildlife management, migration and conservation while the group observes different reserve habitats.

Day 3: Maasai Mara to Lake Naivasha

Breakfast and Student Check-Out

At approximately 6:30–7:00 AM, students will enjoy breakfast and organise luggage under teacher supervision. Room checks will be completed before departure.

Rift Valley Landscape Study

From around 8:00 AM, the group will travel through Narok toward Lake Naivasha. The guide will explain changes in elevation, agriculture, settlement and vegetation during the journey.

Lakeside Group Arrival

At approximately 3:00–4:00 PM, students will arrive at the selected Lake Naivasha accommodation, receive room allocations and enjoy a supervised evening programme.

Day 4: Lake Ecology and Nairobi Return

Morning Freshwater Habitat Study

At around 7:00 AM at Lake Naivasha, students may complete a confirmed boat safari, birdwatching activity or guided nature walk. The guide will introduce fish eagles, waterbirds, shoreline habitats and herbivore ecology.

Breakfast and Learning Summary

At approximately 9:30 AM, the group will return for breakfast and a short summary discussion. Teachers may review assignments before luggage is loaded.

Supervised Return to Nairobi

From around 11:00 AM, the group will travel through the Great Rift Valley toward Nairobi with a supervised lunch or comfort stop.
