4 Days Premium Mara Family Tracks and Tales Safari

Family Rift Valley Journey

At approximately 5:30 AM in Nairobi, our guide will collect your family and assist with luggage, seating and any confirmed child seat. You will travel through the Great Rift Valley and Narok toward Maasai Mara, with family-friendly breakfast, refreshment and comfort stops along the route. The private vehicle allows reasonable adjustments when younger travellers need a break.

First Mara Wildlife Story

After arriving at around 12:00–1:00 PM, you will check into family-friendly premium accommodation and enjoy lunch. From approximately 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, the guide will search for elephants, giraffes, zebras and possible predators while introducing simple wildlife stories and observation activities. Dinner follows at your lodge or camp.

Morning Tracks and Animal Families

At around 6:00 AM, your family will begin a full-day safari during cooler conditions. The guide will help children recognise tracks, horns, coat patterns and family groups while searching for lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes and zebras. Observation stops will keep the experience interactive without becoming a formal classroom lesson.

Family Picnic and Afternoon Discovery

At approximately 12:30 PM, you will enjoy a packed lunch and proper rest at an authorised picnic location. From around 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM, the safari continues through another area for predators, herbivores and birds, with reasonable adjustments when children become tired. You will return for dinner and relaxation.

Morning Predator and Prey Learning

At approximately 6:00 AM, your family will return to the reserve for another complete wildlife day. The guide will explain predator-prey relationships, camouflage and animal communication using real sightings whenever available. A different route will be selected to provide new landscapes and wildlife opportunities.

Picnic, Games and Evening Safari

After lunch at around 12:30 PM, children may review their wildlife checklist or photographs while remaining at the authorised picnic area. From approximately 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM, the family safari continues at a comfortable private pace. You will return to the lodge early enough for rest before dinner.

Last Morning Wildlife Challenge

At around 6:00 AM, your family will enjoy a final morning drive and attempt to identify animals learned about during the previous days. The guide may revisit productive areas while encouraging children to recognise tracks, coat patterns and different species. The drive normally ends between 8:30 AM and 9:00 AM.

Breakfast and Comfortable Return

After breakfast at approximately 9:00 AM, the family will organise snacks, belongings and luggage before check-out. The journey to Nairobi begins at around 10:00–10:30 AM, with a meal or comfort stop arranged along the route. Final drop-off normally takes place in the late afternoon.
