Book a 4-day premium Maasai Mara and Lake Naivasha family safari with private drives, child-friendly guiding, lions and lakeside wildlife.
Our 4-Day Premium Mara Family Wildlife Quest & Naivasha Escape is designed for parents, children and multigenerational families seeking wildlife, comfort and enough rest between activities. Your private journey begins in Nairobi and continues through the Great Rift Valley to the Maasai Mara, where you will enjoy an afternoon game drive and a complete full-day wildlife safari. Our family-friendly guide will search for lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, cheetahs, hyenas and birds while sharing age-appropriate explanations about animal families, tracks, feeding behaviour and conservation. On Day 3, your family will leave the Mara and travel through Narok to Lake Naivasha for a relaxed premium lodge stay. The final morning may include a boat safari, guided birdwatching activity or Crescent Island nature walk when confirmed. Private transport, flexible comfort stops and suitable room arrangements make the package practical for families.

The Booking Form
Book a 4-day premium Maasai Mara and Lake Naivasha family safari with private drives, child-friendly guiding, lions and lakeside wildlife.
N.B: After you send your booking we will get back to you with in 24 hours.
1. Is the package suitable for young children?
Yes, provided parents believe the children can manage several hours of road travel and remain safely seated during game drives. The private vehicle allows reasonable flexibility with snacks, stops and activity duration. Children’s ages should be provided before booking.
2. Are child seats available?
Child seats may be requested in advance. Parents should provide each child’s age, approximate weight and required seat type because safari vehicles do not automatically carry every category of child restraint.
3. Will our family have a private safari vehicle?
Yes. The package is planned with a private vehicle unless the final confirmation states otherwise. This arrangement makes it easier to manage seating, snacks, questions, luggage and comfort stops.
4. Are family rooms available?
Family rooms, connecting rooms and extra beds depend on the selected properties and travel dates. Some lodges offer one large family unit, while others provide nearby or interconnecting rooms. The preferred arrangement should be confirmed before payment.
5. Is the full-day Mara safari too long for children?
It can be suitable when carefully paced and combined with a proper picnic break. The private arrangement allows the guide to reduce unnecessary driving and discuss returning earlier if younger children become tired.
6. What can children learn during the safari?
Children may learn about animal families, tracks, camouflage, feeding behaviour, predator-prey relationships and conservation. Our guide will use age-appropriate explanations and encourage observation rather than giving a formal lecture.
7. Is the Lake Naivasha boat activity safe?
The boat should be operated by an authorised provider using appropriate safety equipment. Children must wear the provided life jackets, remain seated and follow the boat guide’s instructions. Activities may be changed when water or weather conditions are unsafe.
8. Can Crescent Island replace the boat ride?
Yes, when access, timing and entrance arrangements are available. Parents should consider the children’s walking ability, sun exposure and comfort before selecting a guided nature walk.
9. Can special children’s meals be arranged?
Most premium lodges can prepare simple or child-friendly meals when informed early. Parents should provide details about allergies, intolerances and religious food requirements. Special infant food should be carried when it may not be available locally.
10. What should families pack?
Bring comfortable clothing, closed shoes, hats, sunscreen, warm morning layers, medication, insect repellent, reusable water bottles and familiar snacks. Quiet road activities and child hygiene supplies may also be useful.
