Our 4-Day Premium Mara Student Savannah Study Expedition is designed for schools, universities, conservation clubs and organised youth groups seeking practical environmental learning. Students will travel from Nairobi through the Great Rift Valley to Maasai Mara, where an afternoon drive, two full field days and a final morning safari introduce savannah habitats, food chains, animal adaptation, migration and conservation. Teachers or authorised leaders remain responsible for student supervision, attendance and welfare, while our guide manages wildlife interpretation and reserve safety. The programme may include field notes, species checklists, photography assignments and group discussions according to the institution’s learning objectives.

Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara Field Study

Student Assembly and Departure
At approximately 5:00 AM in Nairobi, students will meet at the confirmed school, university, hotel or assembly point. Teachers will complete attendance while our guide explains vehicle rules, the journey and learning objectives. Breakfast and comfort stops will be supervised.

Afternoon Savannah Introduction
After arrival, room allocation and lunch, students will enter Maasai Mara from approximately 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM. The guide will introduce savannah habitats, animal groups, adaptation and food-chain relationships. Students must remain seated and follow all safety instructions.

Predator and Herbivore Study
At around 6:00 AM, students will begin a full-day field drive focused on predator-prey relationships, feeding behaviour and animal social structures. Real sightings will be used to explain ecological concepts while avoiding wildlife disturbance.

Picnic Review and Conservation Learning
At approximately 12:30 PM, the group will enjoy a picnic lunch and review species lists or assignments. From around 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the guide will discuss migration, tourism, habitat use and conservation while exploring another area.

Day 3: Second Full-Day Field Experience

Habitat Comparison
At approximately 6:00 AM, students will return to the reserve to compare open grassland, woodland and riverine environments. The guide will explain how vegetation, water and prey influence wildlife distribution. Teachers may supervise observation notes and photographs.

Wildlife Management Discussion
After a picnic lunch, the afternoon drive will focus on protected-area management, tourism and responsible wildlife viewing. Students will observe animals while discussing conservation challenges and the importance of reserve rules. Dinner and a short group review follow.

Day 4: Final Study Drive and Nairobi

Final Study Drive and Nairobi

Morning Learning Summary
At around 6:00 AM, students will complete a final game drive and review major lessons from the safari. The guide may revisit productive habitats and answer questions about animal behaviour, migration and conservation. The group returns for breakfast at around 9:00 AM.

Supervised Return Journey
After breakfast, teachers will complete room checks, attendance and luggage organisation. The group will depart at approximately 10:00–10:30 AM and travel to Nairobi with a supervised meal and comfort stop. Final drop-off will be at the confirmed assembly point.
