Private Festive Departure
At approximately 5:30 AM in Nairobi, our driver-guide will collect you and begin the journey through the Great Rift Valley. Luggage will be arranged securely, and suitable breakfast or comfort stops will be included. The final travel time depends on traffic and accommodation location.

Premium Mara Arrival
At around 12:00–1:00 PM, you will check into your premium lodge or luxury tented camp and enjoy lunch. Lodge staff will confirm any official New Year dinner, music or celebration included in your stay. You will have time to rest before the afternoon safari.

Final Afternoon Safari of the Year
From approximately 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, our guide will search for lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes and plains wildlife. The private game drive provides an inspiring way to complete the year in nature. You will return for dinner and any confirmed evening programme.

First Morning Wildlife Drive
At around 6:00 AM, you will begin the day with a full Maasai Mara wildlife safari. Cooler conditions may provide opportunities to observe active predators, elephant families and grazing wildlife. Our guide will explore productive habitats according to current animal movement.

New Year Picnic and Afternoon Drive
At approximately 12:30 PM, you will enjoy a packed lunch and relax at an authorised location. From around 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM, the wildlife drive will continue through another reserve area. You will return to your premium accommodation for dinner and relaxation.

Breakfast and Mara Departure
At approximately 7:00 AM, you will enjoy breakfast and complete lodge check-out. Our guide will assist with luggage and confirm the travel programme before departure. The road journey then continues through Narok toward Lake Nakuru.

New Year Rift Valley Transfer
The transfer normally takes five and a half to seven hours depending on festive traffic, road conditions and stops. Lunch or refreshments will be arranged during the journey. The private vehicle provides a comfortable and flexible transfer.

Premium Nakuru Retreat
You will arrive in the Lake Nakuru area during the afternoon and check into your premium lodge. The remaining hours provide time to relax, enjoy the property and prepare for the final morning safari. Dinner follows before overnight rest.

New Year Rhino Experience
At around 6:00 AM, you will enter Lake Nakuru National Park for a morning game drive. Our guide will search for rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, predators and birds across woodland and lakeshore habitats. Flamingo numbers depend on natural conditions.

Breakfast and Nairobi Return
At approximately 9:15 AM, you will return for breakfast and prepare for check-out. From around 10:30 AM, you will travel approximately 160 kilometres to Nairobi. Festive traffic may affect the exact final arrival time.
