4 Days Private Luxury Maasai Mara Safari for Solo Travellers

Your private guide will collect you from your Nairobi hotel, residence or airport and begin the approximately 260–280-kilometre drive to the Maasai Mara. The journey normally takes five to six hours, and travelling alone allows suitable comfort, photography and refreshment stops to be adjusted around your preferences. Attractions along the route include the Great Rift Valley, highland farms, small towns and traditional Maasai landscapes. After checking in at your luxury lodge or tented camp and enjoying lunch, you will begin a personalised afternoon game drive. After breakfast, you will leave with a picnic lunch and spend seven to nine hours exploring approximately 60–100 kilometres of the reserve. Since the vehicle is reserved for you, you will have complete access to the viewing windows and pop-up roof. You may remain longer with favourite sightings, request more time for photography or move to another area whenever you are ready. Attractions can include lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras and numerous birds. Lunch will be enjoyed at an authorised location before your private afternoon wildlife exploration continues.

Your third day offers another seven-to-nine-hour safari covering approximately 60–100 kilometres according to wildlife activity and personal interests. The guide can revisit a productive location, search for a missing species or concentrate on quieter parts of the reserve. Attractions may include hippos and crocodiles near waterways, leopards in riverine vegetation, elephants around water sources and large herbivore herds crossing open grasslands. The guide may also assist with photographs of you at safe and authorised viewpoints. A picnic lunch will be arranged before the afternoon safari continues.
