4 Days Private Samburu and Ol Pejeta Luxury Honeymoon Escape

Your private driver-guide will collect you and your partner from Nairobi and begin the approximately 310–325-kilometre journey to Samburu, normally requiring five and a half to six and a half hours. The route passes highland scenery, agricultural areas and the changing northern landscapes beyond Isiolo, with comfortable stops arranged according to your preferences. After arriving at your luxury lodge or tented camp, you will enjoy lunch and settle into your romantic accommodation before beginning an afternoon game drive. Possible attractions include elephant families, reticulated giraffes, Grevy’s zebras, gerenuks and lions, while the warm evening light around the Ewaso Ng’iro River provides a beautiful setting for couple photographs and quiet moments together.

Your second day includes two private wildlife experiences covering approximately 40–70 kilometres and around six hours in total. The morning game drive may reveal elephants approaching the river, giraffes moving through the scrubland and predators resting after nighttime activity. You will return to the lodge for breakfast, lunch and private relaxation before beginning a second drive later in the afternoon. Attractions may include the Samburu Special Five, colourful birds, river views and a peaceful sunset. Depending on your selected property, a romantic dinner, room decoration or celebration arrangement may be prepared after the game drive.

You will begin with a final Samburu game drive of approximately 15–25 kilometres and around two hours, providing another opportunity to see rare northern species in the cooler morning conditions. After breakfast and check-out, you will travel approximately 140–170 kilometres to Ol Pejeta Conservancy over three to four hours. The journey introduces greener highland landscapes, ranch country and possible views toward Mount Kenya. On arrival, you will check in at your luxury accommodation, enjoy lunch or refreshments and spend the remainder of the day relaxing together. Any romantic service requested in advance will depend on the confirmed lodge and operational schedule.

After breakfast, you will check out and begin the approximately 210–230-kilometre journey to Nairobi, which generally takes four to five hours. During departure through authorised conservancy roads, you may enjoy final views of open plains and possible wildlife, while Ol Pejeta’s conservation setting provides a meaningful conclusion to the honeymoon. A suitable meal and comfort stop will be arranged before private drop-off at your Nairobi hotel, residence or the airport.
