    After breakfast and a briefing in Moshi, you will be driven to Marangu Gate (1860m), located on the South-East side of Kilimanjaro. At the gate, our guides will assist you in registering with the Kilimanjaro National Park authorities. Day one involves a gradual climb through the Kilimanjaro rainforests, which takes approximately 5-7 hours. Along the way, you will encounter Eucalyptus trees, birds, and Colobus monkeys. Lunch will be served midway, and the climb will continue towards Mandara Hut (2715m), where you will arrive late in the afternoon. Upon reaching the hut, you can rest or opt for a guided trip to Maundi Crater, offering a breathtaking view of Tanzania's northern parts and the Kenyan interior. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Mandara Hut.

    Day 2: Climb from Mandara Hut (2715m) - Horombo Hut (3700m)

    Climb from Mandara Hut (2715m) - Horombo Hut (3700m)

    After an early breakfast at Mandara Hut, you will break camp and begin climbing through the rainforests. As you proceed, the landscape will transition into low alpine moorlands dominated by shrubs. The climb through the moorlands will provide glimpses of giant lobelias scattered across the terrain. Lunch will be served at a designated spot, followed by some rest before continuing towards Horombo Hut (3700m). You can expect to reach Horombo Hut late in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be at Horombo Hut.

    Day 3: Horombo Hut (3700m) climb through Kibo Hut (4700m)

    Horombo Hut (3700m) climb through Kibo Hut (4700m)

    After breakfast at Horombo Hut, you will start climbing towards Kibo Hut (4700m). Along the way, you will pass the last water point at 4130m, beyond which there is no clean running water on the mountain. However, you can purchase bottled mineral water at Kibo Hut. Beyond the water point, you will enter the saddle, an almost desert-like terrain connecting the peaks of Mawenzi and Kibo. Lunch will be served before entering the saddle. Upon arrival at Kibo Hut, you will be served an early dinner and advised to rest as you will be woken around 23:00 to begin the final ascent to the summit, Uhuru Peak. Note: If you are on the 6-day climb, this day will be spent acclimatizing at Horombo Hut.

    Day 4: Kibo Hut (4700m) - Uhuru Peak (5895m) - Horombo Hut (3700m)

    This day begins with the summit climb to Uhuru Peak. Shortly before midnight, you will be awakened and provided with a light snack. The ascent to the summit will commence, taking you through the first checkpoint at Hans Meyer Cave (5200m). The climb continues zigzagging until reaching Gilman's Point (5715m) on the crater rim at sunrise. After a rest, the final push to Uhuru Peak (5895m) begins. The challenging yet rewarding ascent will take you past spectacular glaciers, offering you the opportunity to stand on the "Roof of Africa." After capturing the moment and taking photographs, you will descend back to Kibo Hut for a warm meal and rest. From there, you will continue descending to Horombo Hut, where you will arrive in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be at Horombo Hut.

    Day 5: Final climbing from Horombo Hut (3700m) - Marangu Gate (1860m) – Moshi

    Involves a relatively easy descent through low alpine zones and rainforests. You will climb to Mandara Hut, where lunch will be served. Afterward, you will continue descending until you reach Marangu Gate. At the gate, if you reached Gilman's Point or Uhuru Peak, you will be presented with certificates. Our drivers will be waiting for you to transfer you back to your hotel in Moshi, where you can enjoy a long, warm shower and celebrate your successful climb.
