Day 1: Marangu Gate - Mandara Huts

The climb starts at 1,400m, ascending through a tropical rainforest to 1,880m. Keep an eye out for colobus and blue monkeys. After 4 hours and 8km, you'll reach Mandara Huts at 2,700m. Enjoy the beautiful hillsides and diverse flora and fauna along the way

Day 2: Mandara Huts - Horombo Huts

From 2,700m, climb through the forest to the high moorland at 3,720m. Marvel at giant lobelia and groundsel reaching up to 5m in this unique habitat. Catch a glimpse of Kibo and Mawenzi peaks. Spend the night at Horombo Huts, surrounded by the beauty of Kilimanjaro's peaks

Day 3: Horombo Huts - Kibo Huts

From 3,720m, climb through the moorland and alpine desert to 4,720m. Cross the lunar desert of the Saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo. Reach Kibo Huts at the base of Kibo crater wall. Prepare for summit day starting around midnight with an early dinner. The journey to Kilimanjaro's peak awaits

Day 4: Kibo Huts - Uhuru Peak- Horombo Huts (Summit Day)

From 4,720m to 5,895m to 3,720m, climb 21km in 13 hours. The summit climb starts around midnight, mentally and physically challenging. Ascend with headlamps, braving extreme winds and low temperatures. At Gilman's Point (5,685m), witness a magnificent sunrise over Mawenzi Peak. Reach 'Uhuru Peak' (5,895m), Africa's highest point, and celebrate the successful climb. Descend to Horombo Huts, savor the last dinner, and rest well. Congratulations on conquering Kilimanjaro

Day 5: Horombo Huts - Marangu Gate

On the last day, descend from 3,720m to 1,880m through the tropical rainforest. The 19km climb takes about 6 hours. At Marangu gate, collect your Summit Certificates. A vehicle will drive you back to Arusha for a well-deserved hot shower at the hotel. Congratulations on an incredible Kilimanjaro climbking adventure.
