Join a 5-Day Kenya Luxury Birdwatching Safari from Maasai Mara to Amboseli with private birding drives, lake birds, raptors and premium accommodation.
Explore three contrasting Kenyan bird habitats on this 5-Day Kenya Luxury Birdwatching Safari from Maasai Mara to Amboseli. The Maasai Mara introduces secretary birds, vultures, eagles, rollers, bustards and riverine species alongside lions, elephants and giraffes. Lake Nakuru then offers lakeshore and woodland birding for pelicans, cormorants, flamingos, herons, raptors and many smaller species. Amboseli completes the experience with wetlands, open plains and acacia habitats supporting waterbirds, raptors, ostriches and numerous savannah species, together with large elephant herds. A private guide allows birdwatching to receive proper attention, while selected luxury accommodation offers comfortable rooms and peaceful spaces for checklist updates.
You will leave Nairobi with our professional guide and travel approximately 260–280 kilometres to the Maasai Mara over five to six hours. During the transfer through Great Rift Valley scenery, farmland and open countryside, you may begin observing roadside raptors, storks and common highland birds. After checking in at your luxury lodge and enjoying lunch, you will start an afternoon birding drive through grasslands and acacia areas. Possible attractions include secretary birds, rollers, bustards, vultures, eagles and hornbills, while elephants, giraffes, zebras and predators may also appear.
