5 Days Kenya Student Conservation Safari from Nairobi to Three Parks

Our guide will meet the student group in Nairobi and provide a short briefing on safety, responsible tourism and the learning objectives of the safari. During the journey, students will observe the Great Rift Valley landscape and discuss land use, agriculture and settlements. After arriving at the midrange accommodation, your Kenya student conservation safari begins with an afternoon field drive introducing savannah habitats and wildlife relationships.

Students will leave after breakfast with packed lunches for a complete day of wildlife observation. Our guide will explain food chains, territorial behaviour, migration patterns and animal adaptation. The group may observe lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras and birds. Students can take notes, photographs and participate in guided discussions during the field programme.

After breakfast, the group will travel towards Lake Nakuru while discussing tourism, agriculture, population growth and conservation challenges within the Rift Valley. When accommodation is inside the park and arrival time permits, students may join an afternoon wildlife drive. Otherwise, they will settle into their midrange accommodation and prepare for the following morning.

The morning will focus on rhino conservation, wetland habitats, birdlife and protection of Rothschild’s giraffes. Our guide will explain park management, habitat pressure and the role of tourism in conservation funding. After the Lake Nakuru study drive, your Kenya student conservation safari continues towards Amboseli with practical breaks along the route.

Students will begin with a field drive around Amboseli’s open plains and swamps. Our guide will discuss elephant family structures, wetland ecology, water availability and human-wildlife relationships. The group may observe elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, lions and birds before returning to Nairobi. The journey concludes with a short recap of the main learning points.
