Highland Picnic and Tracking Discussion

A prepared picnic will be enjoyed at an authorized location. Your guide may explain tracks, alarm calls, circling vultures and other signs used when searching for predators. The journey then continues toward Ndutu.

Afternoon Big-Cat Search

The first game drive examines open plains, woodland edges and areas containing herbivore concentrations. Cheetahs, lions, spotted hyenas or jackals may be encountered. You will arrive at the luxury camp before dark.

Sunrise Cheetah Search

The morning begins early across open grasslands and gazelle habitat. Cheetahs may scan from raised ground or move between prey concentrations. The private vehicle allows patient observation.

Cheetah-Habitat Picnic

A premium picnic will be enjoyed at an authorized site. Your guide can explain cheetah speed, energy conservation and hunting strategy. Guests can prepare cameras for the afternoon.

Afternoon Cheetah Behaviour

The afternoon may reveal cheetahs resting, grooming, travelling or watching prey. A chase or hunt cannot be guaranteed. Warm light may provide strong portraits before the camp return.

Morning Lion-Territory Drive

The third day focuses on lion prides and areas containing shade or large herbivore groups. Fresh tracks and guide reports will determine the route. Lions may remain inactive for extended periods.

Predator Picnic and Behaviour Discussion

A refined picnic lunch will be enjoyed inside the wildlife area. Your guide may compare lion cooperation with hyena social structure. The safari continues after lunch.

Afternoon Hyena and Jackal Search

Spotted hyenas may travel between herds, rest near dens or communicate through scent and calls. Jackals may hunt smaller prey or follow larger predators. You return to camp before evening.

Early Herd-Reaction Search

The fourth day begins by observing prey behaviour, alarm calls and sudden herd movement. These signs can sometimes indicate nearby predators. The guide will follow visible evidence rather than forcing one route.

Photography Picnic and Equipment Break

A premium picnic provides time to review images and prepare for the afternoon light. Your guide may discuss ethical vehicle positioning and animal welfare. The game drive resumes afterward.

Golden-Light Big-Cat Drive

The afternoon may revisit a cheetah family, lion pride or hyena territory. Late light can create dramatic environmental portraits. The final full-day drive ends at the luxury camp.

Sunrise Big-Cat Patrol

The last game drive begins shortly after sunrise. Your guide may revisit an active territory or search a new section of the plains. Cooler conditions can increase predator movement.

Brunch and Camp Check-Out

After the drive, you return to camp for breakfast or brunch. Guests can pack and complete check-out. The guide will confirm return timing.

Scenic Transfer to Arusha
