You will leave early for a 3 hour drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. You will descend into the caldera for a half day tour of this unique ecosystem. This is the best place to find the rare black rhino and complete your Big Five sightings. After a lunch break at the hippo pool, you will begin the 4 hour drive back to Arusha, covering 190 kilometers. A highlight of the day is the spectacular view from the crater rim, which offers a great final photo opportunity. You will arrive in Arusha in the late evening for your departure.
