When you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a driver will meet your family and provide a transfer to your hotel in Arusha. The drive takes about one hour through green landscapes and local villages. This day is for resting and adjusting to the environment. Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

The safari starts with a drive to Tarangire National Park, which takes about 2 to 3 hours over a distance of 120 kilometers. This park is famous for its giant baobab trees and massive elephant herds. You will spend the full day on a game drive along the Tarangire River.
