Our guide will meet you in Nairobi and help you begin your solo Kenya safari comfortably. You will travel through the Great Rift Valley and continue towards Maasai Mara after a short scenic stop. Upon arrival, you will check into your private room at a midrange lodge or tented camp. Your afternoon game drive may reveal elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes and predators across the Mara grasslands.

Safari Period: Around 7–9 hours
Areas Visited: Open plains, riverine sections, predator zones and picnic sites

After breakfast, you will leave with our guide and a packed lunch for a full day in Maasai Mara. Your solo Kenya safari may be adjusted towards photography, birdwatching or general wildlife viewing, especially when booked privately. Our guide will search for lions, cheetahs, elephants, wildebeests, buffaloes and giraffes while allowing you time to enjoy each sighting.

Day 3: Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru

Transfer Coverage: Approximately 235–260 kilometres
Driving Time: 5–6 hours
Optional Afternoon Safari: Approximately 1½–2 hours
Places Covered: Maasai Mara, Narok, Rift Valley countryside and Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, your independent journey continues towards Lake Nakuru. Our guide will manage the road transfer while sharing information about Rift Valley landscapes and communities. When accommodation is inside the park and arrival is early enough, you may enjoy an afternoon game drive. Otherwise, you will settle into your private midrange room and relax.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru Wildlife Drive to Amboseli

Morning Safari Circuit: Approximately 35–55 kilometres
Game-Viewing Duration: Approximately 3–4 hours
Road Journey South: Approximately 360–390 kilometres
Transfer Estimate: 7–8 hours
Places Visited: Lake Nakuru, Nairobi bypass, Athi River, Emali and Amboseli

You will begin the morning by exploring Lake Nakuru National Park with our guide. Possible sightings include black and white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, baboons and birds. After the game drive, your solo Kenya safari continues towards Amboseli. Appropriate comfort stops will be included before you arrive at your midrange lodge in the evening.

Your final morning begins with a game drive through Amboseli’s open landscapes. Our guide will help you search for elephants, buffaloes, lions, giraffes, zebras and waterbirds. When the weather is favourable, Mount Kilimanjaro may provide a spectacular background for your photographs. After the drive and breakfast or lunch, you will travel back to Nairobi.
