1. Are all meals served during the safari Halal?
Yes. We partner with luxury lodges that have certified Halal kitchens or dedicated chefs who prepare meat according to Islamic rites. No pork or alcohol is used in food preparation.
2. Is there a prayer space at the lodges?
Most luxury lodges provide a quiet, clean area for prayer. We also provide prayer mats (Sajadah) and Qibla direction indicators in your room or vehicle.
3. Can we have a private vehicle for our family?
Yes, all our luxury packages include a private 4x4 Land Cruiser. This ensures complete privacy (Parda) for your family and allows for flexible stops for prayer.
4. Is there alcohol in the safari vehicles?
No. For our Muslim-friendly tours, we ensure the vehicle's fridge is stocked only with premium non-alcoholic beverages, fresh juices, and mineral water.
5. How are prayer times managed during game drives?
Your professional guide is aware of the five daily prayer times and will plan the route to ensure you are at a quiet spot or back at the lodge for Swala.
6. Are there gender-segregated facilities at the lodges?
Luxury lodges offer high levels of privacy. We can also select properties with private villas and plunge pools to ensure "Haya" and comfort for sisters and families.
7. Is there water for Wudhu available during the safari?
Yes, our vehicles carry extra clean water specifically for Wudhu, and lodges have modern bathroom facilities in all guest suites.
8. Can we visit local Masjids during the trip?
If the itinerary passes through Arusha or Karatu, we can arrange for you to visit local Masjids for Jumu'ah or daily prayers.
