Morning Departure from the Mara

Sightings are never guaranteed, and flamingo concentrations vary among lakes. Leave the Nakuru area by late morning or around noon and drive 85–150 km toward Lake Bogoria. Depending on reserve entrance, lodge and lunch, allow two to four hours.
