    We depart from Hotel in Moshi and head to Marangu Gate to complete necessary formalities. The hike begins through a lush rainforest where we might spot blue monkeys. As we ascend, the trail opens up to reveal beautiful hillsides until we reach Mandara Hut.

    Continue through the forest, we enter high moorland with potential views of Kibo and Mawenzi peaks. These peaks are part of the summit of Kilimanjaro. We hike until we reach Horombo Hut.

    We begin our summit push around midnight. This is the most challenging part of the hike both mentally and physically. After several hours of ascending in darkness, we reach Gilman's Point at 18,600 ft, where a breathtaking sunrise over Mawenzi Peak awaits. Finally, we reach Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. After savoring the moment, we descend to Horombo Hut for dinner and rest.     On the final day, we embark on a long downhill hike through the tropical rainforest. Upon reaching Marangu Gate, we collect our summit certificates.
