After breakfast and a briefing, drive to Marangu Gate (1860m). Begin your hike through the rainforest, spotting monkeys and birds. Reach Mandara Hut (2700m) for overnight stay.

Day 2: MANDARA HUT TO HOROMBO HUT

Hike through the heath and moor zone, enjoying panoramic views. Arrive at Horombo Hut (3700m) for overnight stay.
