Start your climb at Marangu Gate, after registration, and hike through the lush rainforest to reach Mandara Hut. Enjoy an shot rest opportunity by visiting Maundi Crater.

Day 2: Climbing Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut

Climb through rolling moorlands, leaving the rainforest behind, and continue to Horombo Hut. Experience stunning views of Kilimanjaro along the way.

Day 3: Horombo Hut (Acclimatization Day)

Take an extra day at Horombo Hut for acclimatization. Hike to Mawenzi Ridge or Zebra Rock to help your body adjust to higher altitudes. Return to Horombo Hut for lunch, rest, and overnight stay.

Day 4: Horombo Hut Climb up to Kibo Hut

Continue your ascent, leaving Horombo Hut and climbing to Kibo Hut. Pass the last water point and enter the Kibo saddle, a desert-like area between Mawenzi and Kibo peaks. Enjoy an early dinner and rest at Kibo Hut.

Day 5: Summit climbing from Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak to Horombo Hut

Begin your summit ascent from Kibo Hut in the dark. Use headlamps/flashlights and dress warmly. Reach Gilman's Point on the crater rim and continue to Uhuru Peak, the highest point of Kilimanjaro. Take in the breathtaking views and descend back to Kibo Hut. Rest, have lunch, and continue down to Horombo Hut for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate to Moshi

Descend through the moorland to Mandara Huts, where you'll have lunch. Continue your descent through the lush forest to Marangu Gate.
