As you begin your ascent of Mount Kilimanjaro, you will embark on the Rongai route, which offers a unique and less crowded path to the summit. Your journey will start at the Marangu Park Gate, where you will register and transfer to the Rongai Park Gate. As you make your way through the lush montane forest, you will be surrounded by towering trees and the sounds of the wild.
Early in the morning we start our climbing we from Rongai gate will take you to the Simba Camp, where you will spend your first night at an altitude of around 2,600 meters. The small winding path through the forest will give way to a breath-taking view of the surrounding landscape as you ascend towards Kibo.

Leaving from Kikelewa cave will take you to Mawenzi Tarn, where you will spend the night at an altitude of around 4,330 meters. The short but steep climb up grassy slopes will be rewarded with spectacular views of the cirque directly beneath the towering spires of Mawenzi. You will have the afternoon to rest and explore the surrounding area, allowing you to acclimatize to the high altitude. Throughout your journey, you will be accompanied by experienced guides and porters who will provide support and guidance every step of the way. The journey ahead will take you from an elevation of 4,330 meters to 4,750 meters, covering a distance of just 4 kilometres and taking approximately 3 hours. As you make your way across the lunar-like landscape of the "Saddle," you will be surrounded by a barren and desolate environment, characterized by rocky and dusty terrain, with very little vegetation. This harsh environment is a stark contrast to the lush forests and fertile landscapes you have encountered thus far on your journey. Despite the challenging terrain, you will be filled with a sense of determination and excitement as you approach the base of the Kibo crater wall and the Kibo campsite (4,750m), your final stop before the summit. This is a crucial stage in your ascent, as you will have the opportunity to rest and prepare your body and mind for the final push to the summit tomorrow. Take this time to familiarize yourself with your surroundings, and eat a hearty meal to fuel your body for the challenges ahead.

With a midnight wake-up call, we'll embark on the ultimate challenge: summiting Kilimanjaro. The steep and demanding climb leads us to Stella Point (5,685m) just before dawn, where we'll witness a breathtaking sunrise. Pushing onward, we'll reach Uhuru Peak (5,895m), standing atop the African continent. After celebrating and capturing memories, we'll begin our descent back to Kibo Hut, then continue down to Horombo Hut (3,720m). This day is both physically and emotionally intense, but the sense of accomplishment is immeasurable.
