Start on the Peak of Africa 6-Day Kilimanjaro Hiking Adventure via the iconic Marangu route. This thrilling journey takes you to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa, standing tall at 5,895 meters above sea level. Throughout the adventure, you will be accompanied by skilled guides and a supportive crew, ensuring your safety, comfort, and successful Summit. The Marangu route is the only route that provide huts.

Day 1: Marangu Gate Hike to Mandara Hut

We depart from Hotel in Moshi and head to Marangu Gate to complete necessary formalities. The hiking begins through a lush rainforest where we might spot blue monkeys. As we ascend, the trail opens up to reveal beautiful hillsides until we reach Mandara Hut.

Day 2: Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut

Continue through the forest, we enter high moorland with potential views of Kibo and Mawenzi peaks. These peaks are part of the summit of Kilimanjaro. We hiking until we reach Horombo Hut.

Day 3: Horombo Hut (Mawenzi Ridge) to Horombo Hut

This day is meant for acclimatization. We can choose to hiking on Mawenzi Ridge, where we can enjoy unique landscapes and inspiring views of Kibo and Mawenzi. After exploring the area, we return to Horombo Hut. Elevation: 12,205 ft to 14,400 ft Distance: 5 km/3 miles Habitat: Heath

Day 4: Hiking from Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut

We gradually hiking and cross the lunar desert known as the "Saddle" between Mawenzi and Kibo. Our camp, Kibo Hut, is located at the base of the Kibo crater wall. Here, we rest and have an early dinner to prepare for summit day. Elevation: 12,205 ft to 15,430 ft Distance: 10 km/6 miles Habitat: Alpine Desert

Day 5: Kibo Hut Hiking to Uhuru Peak to Horombo Hut

We begins our summit push around midnight. This is the most challenging part of the hiking both mentally and physically. After several hours of ascending in darkness, we reach Gilman's Point at 18,600 ft, where a breathtaking sunrise over Mawenzi Peak awaits. Finally, we reach Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. After savoring the moment, we descend to Horombo Hut for dinner and rest. Elevation: 15,430 ft to 19,341 ft (Uhuru Peak) and back to 12,205 ft (Horombo Hut) Distance: 19 km Hiking Time: 7-9 hours Habitat: Arctic

On the final day, we embark on a long downhill hiking through the tropical rainforest. Upon reaching Marangu Gate, we collect our summit certificates.
