A 3-hour drive from Moshi through villages, coffee plantations, registering permits at Marangu. The route is also accessible from Kenya\'s Amboseli Park too.
Welcome to the Nalemoru Gate, where your adventure on Mount Kilimanjaro begins. As you trek through the lush rainforest, you'll be greeted by the chirping of birds and the rustling of the leaves. On the first day, you'll reach the First Cave Campsite, which offers a stunning view of the surrounding landscape.

Day four is all about acclimatization, as you take a short hike to the Mawenzi Summit, which offers breath-taking views of the surrounding landscape.

As you descend back to Horombo Huts, you'll have time to reflect on your incredible journey so far.
