The Rongai Route is highly successful and among the easiest paths. It begins near the Kenyan border, less traveled, with descent via Marangu Route for diverse views. A 3-hour drive from Moshi through villages, coffee plantations, registering permits at Marangu. The route is also accessible from Kenya\'s Amboseli Park too.

    Welcome to the Nalemoru Gate, where your adventure on Mount Kilimanjaro begins. As you trek through the lush rainforest, you'll be greeted by the chirping of birds and the rustling of the leaves. On the first day, you'll reach the First Cave Campsite, which offers a stunning view of the surrounding landscape.

    Day three will take you to the Mawenzi Tarn, a serene alpine lake surrounded by snow-capped peaks. You'll then ascend to the Mawenzi Tarn Hut, where you'll spend the night.

    On day five, you'll begin your summit attempt, starting from Gilman's Point and making your way to the Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. This challenging trek will take you through rocky terrain and steep slopes, but the reward of reaching the summit will be worth it. As you descend back to Horombo Huts, you'll have time to reflect on your incredible journey so far.
