    Summit Day! Uhuru Peak and Descend to hombo hut

    The summit attempt starts in the early hours to reach the peak at sunrise. The trek involves steep scree slopes and rocky terrain. First, you'll aim for Gilman's Point at 5,681 meters on the crater rim. Then, you'll push on to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa at 5,895 meters. After reaching the peak, you'll descend back to Kibo Hut for a brief rest before continuing to Horombo Hut, situated at 3,720 meters for overnight.
