Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you'll be greeted by our friendly team who will transfer you to your hotel in Moshi, a charming town situated at the base of Kilimanjaro. Take the day to rest and acclimatize to the altitude. In the evening, you'll have a pre-trek briefing with your guide, who will provide essential information about the upcoming Kilimanjaro trek and answer any questions you may have.

Day 1: Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut
After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, our team will drive you to Marangu Gate (1,860m/6,102ft), the starting point of your trek. Here, you'll complete the necessary registration and meet the rest of the trekking crew. The trek to Mandara Hut (2,700m/8,858ft) will take approximately 4-5 hours, passing through lush rainforest filled with diverse flora and fauna. Enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way and settle into the cozy Mandara Hut for the night.

Day 2: Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut
Today's trek leads you further into Kilimanjaro's diverse landscapes. You'll hike through the rainforest until you reach the heather and moorland zone. The trek to Horombo Hut (3,720m/12,205ft) takes around 6-8 hours. As you gain altitude, the air becomes crisper, and you might notice the effects of altitude on your body. Stay well-hydrated and take it easy to acclimatize effectively.

Day 3: Acclimatization Day at Horombo Hut
To enhance your chances of reaching the summit, an acclimatization day is essential. You'll spend this day at Horombo Hut to allow your body to adjust to the altitude. A short trek to Zebra Rocks or Mawenzi Ridge is recommended, offering stunning panoramic views and aiding in the acclimatization process. Afterward, return to Horombo Hut for rest and relaxation.

Day 4: Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut
The landscape transforms into an alpine desert as you ascend towards Kibo Hut (4,703m/15,430ft). The trek takes about 6-8 hours, and you'll pass through the "saddle," a vast flat area between the peaks of Mawenzi and Kibo. Upon arriving at Kibo Hut, rest early to prepare for the challenging summit push that starts later in the evening.

Day 5: Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak to Horombo Hut
At midnight, your trek towards the summit begins. The goal is to reach Uhuru Peak (5,895m/19,341ft), the highest point in Africa, in time to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the vast savannah below. The trek to the summit takes about 6-8 hours and is physically demanding due to the high altitude. However, the sense of achievement upon reaching the "Roof of Africa" makes it all worthwhile. After capturing unforgettable moments at the peak, you'll descend back to Horombo Hut (or even Marangu Gate) for a well-deserved rest and celebration.

Day 6: Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate

Once you reach the gate, our team will congratulate you on your incredible achievement and transfer you back to your hotel in Moshi. Take a shower, relax, and enjoy a celebratory dinner to mark the end of an unforgettable journey.
