After breakfast, we will drive to rongai gate and begin our 4-5 hour drive through the many villages and coffee plantations of Tanzania. Along the way, we will be able to see the daily lives of the locals and learn about the history and culture of the region. As we make our way to Nale Muru, we will be surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of Tanzania, with lush forests and rolling hills as far as the eye can see. Upon arriving at Nale Muru, we will sign in and prepare our porters for the hike ahead. We will begin our ascent on a wide path that winds through the fields of maize and potatoes, with the sound of birds chirping in the background. As we enter the pine forest, we will start to hike gently but consistently, with the forest providing a sense of protection and seclusion. As we continue our ascent, the forest will begin to thin out, and we will start to see the stunning views of the Kenyan plains stretching out before us. Our second day of hiking will take us up to the second cave, which is located at an altitude of 2,600 meters. The ascent will be steady and moderate, with the stunning views of the eastern Ice fields on the Crater and Rim as our constant companion. As we make our way to the second cave, we will notice the signs of the changing landscape, with the pine forest giving way to the moorland zone.

On our third day of hiking, we will reach the third cave, which is located at an altitude of 3,050 meters. The ascent will be a steady hike, but the breath-taking views of the eastern ice fields on the crater rim will keep us motivated. As we make our way to the third cave, we will be careful to notice any signs of altitude sickness, and take the necessary precautions to prevent it. After few hours you will reach at third cave for rest and an overnight.

Our final day of hiking will take us to the Kibo Huts, located at the base of the Kibo crater wall. From here, we will join the popular Marangu Route and begin our ascent to the summit. We will take our time and rest, preparing ourselves for the final ascent, and making sure that we have all the necessary equipment and warm clothing. As we turn in early, we will reflect on the amazing journey that we have undertaken so far, and the incredible sights and experiences that we have encountered along the way. We will be filled with a sense of pride and accomplishment, knowing that we have achieved our goal of reaching the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro.

As we prepare for our final ascent to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, the anticipation is palpable. We gather in the darkness of midnight, and our guides provide us with a warm drink to help us stay alert as we begin our hike. The switchbacks up the steep scree or snow are challenging, but we take our time, resting when we need to and encouraging each other on. The views from Gilman's Point on the crater rim are breath taking, and we take a moment to admire the fabled crater and its ice caps. Another two hours of hiking along the crater rim brings us to Uhuru Peak, Africa's highest point. As we reach the summit, we are greeted by the stunning sunrise, and we take a moment to soak in the beauty of this incredible moment. After taking our pictures and basking in the glory of our achievement, we begin our descent back down to the Kibo Huts. The views on the way down are just as stunning, and we take our time to savour every moment. We have lunch at the Horombo Hut then rest and overnight

As we wake up on the sixth day of our journey, we are filled with a sense of accomplishment and pride. We have hiked to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, and we have done it together. We take our time packing up our belongings, making sure that we haven't left anything behind. As we descend through the moorland’ we can't help but feel a sense of accomplishment. We take a break at the Mandara Huts to have lunch and rest. We are tired, but we are also exhilarated. We know that we have accomplished something truly special, and we are grateful for the opportunity to have shared this experience with each other. As we continue our descent through the lush forest, we can't help but feel a sense of gratitude. Finally, we reach the park gate, where our guides, cooks, and porters are waiting for us. We tip them for their hard work and dedication, and we board a vehicle that will take us back to our hotel in Moshi.
