Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara – New Year Afternoon Safari

Your guide will collect you from Nairobi and travel approximately 260–280 kilometres to the Maasai Mara over five to six hours. After checking in and enjoying lunch, you will begin an afternoon drive for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras and antelopes.

Day 2: Full-Day New Year Maasai Mara Safari

After breakfast, you will explore approximately 60–100 kilometres over seven to nine hours. Attractions may include predators, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, hippos and grazing herds. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed before afternoon wildlife viewing continues.

Day 3: Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru – New Year Rift Valley Journey

After breakfast, you will travel approximately 230–250 kilometres to Lake Nakuru over four and a half to six hours. The route passes highland farms, towns and Rift Valley scenery before lodge check-in.

The morning includes a three-to-four-hour Lake Nakuru game drive for rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes and birds. After lunch, you will travel approximately 110–140 kilometres to Lake Bogoria.
