Experience a 6-Day Maasai Mara Big Cats and Rift Valley Lakes Luxury Safari with predators, rhinos, flamingos, hippos and private guiding.
Experience Kenya’s predators, rhinos, flamingos and freshwater wildlife on this 6-Day Maasai Mara Big Cats and Rift Valley Lakes Luxury Safari. The Maasai Mara provides an afternoon game drive and a complete wildlife day for lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes and large grazing herds. Lake Nakuru introduces white and black rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes and birds before the journey continues to Lake Bogoria for geothermal scenery and seasonal flamingo gatherings. Lake Naivasha completes the route with hippos, African fish eagles and peaceful freshwater landscapes. A private safari vehicle, professional guide and selected luxury accommodation create a comfortable journey through four distinctive Kenyan environments.
Our guide will collect you from Nairobi and travel approximately 260–280 kilometres to the Maasai Mara over five to six hours. After arrival, check-in and lunch, you will begin an afternoon game drive featuring possible lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes and antelopes.
After breakfast, you will explore approximately 60–100 kilometres over seven to nine hours. The guide will search for lions, cheetahs and leopards while remaining attentive to elephants, hyenas, giraffes, wildebeest and zebras. River habitats may provide hippos and crocodiles. A picnic lunch will be served inside the reserve.
After breakfast, you will travel approximately 230–250 kilometres to Lake Nakuru over four and a half to six hours. The route passes rural communities, highland farms and Rift Valley scenery. You will check in at your luxury lodge and relax before the morning wildlife activity.
Your morning includes a three-to-four-hour Lake Nakuru drive covering approximately 25–50 kilometres. Possible attractions include white and black rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, baboons, zebras and birds. After lunch, you will travel approximately 110–140 kilometres to Lake Bogoria over two and a half to three and a half hours.
After breakfast, you will explore Lake Bogoria for approximately two to four hours. Attractions may include seasonal flamingos, other waterbirds, hot springs and geothermal landscapes. You will then travel approximately 180–220 kilometres to Lake Naivasha over four to five hours before checking in at your luxury lodge.
Depending on the confirmed package, you may enjoy a one-to-one-and-a-half-hour boat safari for hippos, fish eagles, pelicans and freshwater scenery. You will then travel approximately 90–110 kilometres to Nairobi over two to two and a half hours before final drop-off.
