Today's journey takes your group to the famous Lava Tower before descending to Barranco Camp, following the important "climb high, sleep low" acclimatization principle. Working together through the changing altitude creates a strong team spirit, while the spectacular volcanic scenery makes this one of the most memorable days on the mountain. The shared experience and encouragement from fellow climbers help keep everyone motivated.
Start the day by climbing the famous Barranco Wall alongside your group, supporting one another through one of Kilimanjaro's most exciting sections. After a short break at Karanga Camp, continue to Barafu Camp through the dramatic alpine desert. The shared excitement grows as everyone prepares together for the midnight summit attempt, creating an unforgettable sense of teamwork and anticipation.
Your summit attempt begins around midnight as the entire group starts the climb toward Uhuru Peak (5,895 m).
