    Today, you'll hike to Zebra Rocks (3,980 meters) to help your body acclimatize to the elevation. This 2 to 4-hour trek allows you to stretch your legs and enjoy the fresh air. Zebra Rocks, named after its distinct white stripes, offer spectacular views. After returning, a wonderful lunch awaiting you, and the rest of the afternoon is for you to enjoyment and regain your strength for tomorrow's hike. Spend another night at Horombo Hut.

    After breakfast, embark on a long and challenging journey to Kibo Hut. The vegetation will gradually change into an alpine desert, and you will pass the "last water point" on your way to the "saddle," a plateau between the peaks of Mawenzi and Kibo. It will take approximately 5 to 6 hours to reach Kibo Hut (4,700 meters). Rest and prepare for the early start to the summit the next day.

    The day of the summit has arrived. At around midnight, when the lava ash is frozen, you will begin your ascent with only your headlight to guide you. The way will be strenuous, and you will pass the Hans Meyer Cave at 5,200 meters as you make your path up slowly but steadily. As the sun rises over the crater rim, you will reach Gilmans Point at 5,715 meters. Proceeding for another 1 to 2 hours to reach Uhuru Peak (5,895 meters), the "Roof of Africa." After capturing memorable photos, descend along the same route. The thawed lava ash allows for a faster descent. During arriving at Kibo Hut, enjoy a warm meal and rest for approximately 2 hours before continuing down to Horombo Hut.

    As you descend, the surrounding vegetation becomes greener. You will arrive at Mandara Hut (2,700 meters), where a hot lunch awaits you. The journey back to the park gate offers another opportunity to appreciate the beautiful tropical rainforest and spot anything you might have missed on the way up. Finally, you will arrive at the gate, receive your summit certificate, bid farewell to your mountain crew, and be taken back to your hotel in Moshi. Enjoy a refreshing shower and celebrate your successful summit of Mount Kilimanjaro.
