Once you reach Mawenzi Tarn Camp, you will have the opportunity to rest and acclimate, preparing yourself for the final ascent to the summit.

You will wake up early and begin your ascent to Kibo Hut, which is located at an elevation of 4,730 meters. The climb is challenging, but the views of the surrounding landscape are breath-taking. The remainder of the day is spent resting, preparing yourself for the final ascent to the summit, which begins around midnight. As you lay down to sleep at Kibo Hut, you will be filled with a sense of accomplishment and pride, knowing that you have already conquered so much and that you are one step closer to achieving your dream of standing on the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro.

As the sun sets, you rise from your tent and gather your belongings, ready to face the final ascent to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will leave the comfort of Kibo Hut at around 23:20 and begin your journey into the night. The first part of the trail leads to the Hans Meyer Cave, a resting spot at an altitude of 5150 meters. From there, you will continue to the zigzag path that leads to Gillman's Point, located at 5681 meters. The final push to the summit begins, as you ascend the remaining distance to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. The weather conditions on the summit will determine how long you can spend admiring the view, but you will have three hours to take in the incredible sights. After your triumphant ascent, you begin the descent back down to Horombo Hut. The journey takes around 3 hours, and you will have the opportunity to reflect on your incredible achievement as you make your way back to civilization.

The final day of your trek brings you back down to sea level, as you descend from Horombo Hut to the Marangu Gate. The descent takes around 6 hours, passing through Mandara Hut and other scenic landscapes along the way. As you near the end of your journey, you will feel a mix of emotions – happiness, satisfaction, and perhaps a little bit of sadness. You will have accomplished something truly remarkable, and you will take with your memories that will last a lifetime. Upon reaching the Marangu Gate, you will sign your name in a register and receive a certificate to commemorate your achievement.
