Enjoy a 6-Day Private Luxury Solo Safari from Maasai Mara to Lake Naivasha with personal guiding, big cats, rhinos, flamingos and hippos.
Explore Kenya independently with the support of a professional private guide on this 6-Day Private Luxury Solo Safari from Maasai Mara to Lake Naivasha. The journey includes a private customised vehicle and single-occupancy luxury accommodation, allowing every activity and transfer to follow your own pace. The Maasai Mara provides opportunities for big cats, elephants and photography, Lake Nakuru introduces rhinos and birdlife, Lake Bogoria adds geothermal landscapes and seasonal flamingos, while Lake Naivasha offers a peaceful freshwater conclusion with hippos and fish eagles. The itinerary is ideal for solo photographers, birdwatchers and independent travellers seeking security, flexibility and premium comfort.
Your dedicated guide will collect you from Nairobi and begin the approximately 260–280-kilometre journey to the Maasai Mara over five to six hours. Private meal, comfort and photography stops will be arranged around your preferences. After checking in and enjoying lunch, you will begin an afternoon drive focused on your interests, with possible sightings of lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras and birds.
After breakfast, you will explore approximately 60–100 kilometres over seven to nine hours. You may prioritise predators, wildlife photography, birds, elephants or quieter reserve areas. Because the vehicle is exclusively yours, you will have unrestricted access to windows and the pop-up roof. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed before the afternoon drive continues.
After breakfast, you will travel approximately 230–250 kilometres to Lake Nakuru over four and a half to six hours. The private journey allows stops to be adjusted according to your interests. After arrival, you will check in at your luxury lodge and relax.
Your morning begins with a private three-to-four-hour Lake Nakuru drive covering approximately 25–50 kilometres. Possible attractions include rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, baboons and birds. After lunch, you will travel approximately 110–140 kilometres to Lake Bogoria over two and a half to three and a half hours.
After breakfast, you will explore Lake Bogoria’s geothermal and bird environments for approximately two to four hours. You may focus on flamingos, landscape photography, hot springs or geology according to your interests. You will then travel approximately 180–220 kilometres to Lake Naivasha over four to five hours.
The final morning may include a private boat safari for hippos, fish eagles and waterbirds when included in your package. You will then travel approximately 90–110 kilometres to Nairobi over two to two and a half hours before private drop-off.
